Apple Price Adjustment Policy (2026)

Apple's price adjustment policy gives you 14 calendar days from the date you receive your product to request a refund of the difference if Apple lowers its price. Apple does not match competitor prices — only its own price drops qualify.

No competitor price matching — Apple own price drops only

What is a price adjustment?

A price adjustment means that if a product you already bought drops in price at the same store within a set window, the retailer refunds you the difference without requiring a return. Apple's version covers its own price drops on Apple-branded products — if Apple lowers the price on something you recently purchased, you can request the difference back by phone or in store.

Apple does not have a competitor price match program. If you find the same iPhone or MacBook cheaper at Best Buy, Amazon, or any other retailer, Apple will not match that price. What Apple does offer is protection against its own price changes: a 14-day window after you receive a product during which any Apple-initiated price drop on that item entitles you to the difference.
