Target Price Adjustment Policy (2026)

Target allows price adjustments within 14 days of purchase when the same item drops in price at Target. As of July 28, 2025, Target no longer matches competitor prices from Amazon, Walmart, or other retailers.

What is a price adjustment?

A price adjustment means that if an item you already bought drops in price at the same retailer within a set window, you get a refund of the difference — no return required. Target's policy covers their own price drops only.

As of July 28, 2025, Target eliminated competitor price matching. If you find the same item cheaper at Amazon or Walmart, Target will not match that price. However, if Target lowers its own price or runs a Target Circle deal within 14 days of your purchase, you can request the difference in-store or online.
