What is the TreeHouse Foods Settlement about?
TreeHouse Foods agreed to a $4,000,000 settlement over a recall of certain frozen breakfast products (including waffles) due to potential Listeria contamination. U.S. consumers who bought any covered products between Oct. 18, 2024 and Sept. 2, 2025 can claim the full purchase price with proof, or the average retail price for up to two items per household without proof. Payments are subject to pro-rata adjustment and capped at $50 per person, and may be reduced by any prior recall reimbursement. Eligibility, claim review, payment timing, and any payment amount are determined by the settlement administrator, court-approved terms, or applicable refund program. Payout does not administer the settlement, determine eligibility, or guarantee payment.
Who qualifies for the TreeHouse Foods Settlement?
You may qualify for the TreeHouse Foods Settlement if you meet the eligibility requirements below. Eligibility is finally determined by the settlement administrator, not by Payout.
- Purchased TreeHouse Foods covered frozen breakfast products in the U.S. for personal use between 2024-10-18 and 2025-09-02
- Submit a valid claim by 2025-12-16 (online or postmarked by that date)
- Without receipts: claim average retail price for up to two covered products per household; with receipts: full purchase price
- If you or someone in your household already received recall reimbursement, your payment will be reduced accordingly
