What is the Toyota Hvac Settlement about?
A class action settlement (Salas v. Toyota) resolves claims that 2012–2015 Toyota Camry XV50 vehicles sold in California had defective HVAC systems that allowed exhaust odors to enter the cabin. The settlement reimburses Class Members up to $100 for reasonable out-of-pocket expenses to replace or install a charcoal cabin air filter. Claims for 2012–2013 model years have closed. Eligibility, claim review, payment timing, and any payment amount are determined by the settlement administrator, court-approved terms, or applicable refund program.
