A $21.5 million settlement resolves claims that Sutter Health’s use of third-party tracking technologies on certain webpages, including the MyHealthOnline portal login page, disclosed patients’ PII/PHI without consent. Eligible California residents who logged into their own MyHealthOnline accounts during the class period may submit a claim for a pro rata cash payment up to $90. Eligibility, claim review, payment timing, and any payment amount are determined by the settlement administrator, court-approved terms, or applicable refund program. Payout does not administer the settlement, determine eligibility, or guarantee payment.
