What is the RevitaLash Lawsuit about?
Athena Cosmetics Inc. has agreed to a $4.17 million settlement resolving claims that it failed to disclose potential health risks and side effects of its RevitaLash and RevitaBrow eyelash and brow serums. The lawsuit alleged the active ingredient dechloro dihydroxy difluoro ethylcloprostenolamide (DDDE) causes blepharitis, Meibomian Gland Dysfunction, chronic dry eye, redness, discoloration, and pain. U.S. consumers who purchased RevitaLash Advanced Eyelash Conditioner, RevitaLash Advanced Sensitive Eyelash Conditioner, RevitaLash Advanced Pro Eyelash Conditioner, or RevitaBrow Advanced Eyebrow Conditioner between January 1, 2017 and December 29, 2025 may be eligible for a $20 cash payment or a $110 product voucher. No proof of purchase is required. Claims must be submitted by April 20, 2026. Eligibility, claim review, payment timing, and any payment amount are determined by the settlement administrator, court-approved terms, or applicable refund program. Payout does not administer the settlement, determine eligibility, or guarantee payment.
