How does Payout count app claim histories?
Payout counts each settlement once per synced account. The article statistics describe recorded app activity. Payout does not verify that an administrator received, approved or paid those claims. We checked the data and the app workflow on October 13, 2026.
What does a recorded claim mean?
The reviewed app has a path where you mark a claim Submitted and another where opening the external browser records claim activity. Neither checks an administrator receipt. Save the confirmation from the official claim form to document a completed submission.
One person can have more than one account. Anonymous or unsynced activity may be missing. An account count cannot establish the number of people, Americans, completed filings or payments.
How are duplicate and small counts handled?
We count repeated settlement IDs within one account once. Counts below 10 are withheld. A withheld or unavailable count is unknown, not zero.
We read the records in batches over a short period. Accounts can change during that read. The counts describe current recorded activity on the review date, not a frozen historical total.
What can these statistics tell you?
A case-specific count shows that the matter appears in Payout account histories. We match the actual case before using a count. Cash App referral texts and the Cash App data security settlement are separate matters.
The reviewed records do not include filing dates, administrator decisions or payment delivery events. We cannot calculate weekly filing trends, approval rates or payout timing from these records.
How are catalog and workflow findings checked?
Catalog checks cover published entries returned on the review date. Drafts and archived entries are excluded. A missing match does not establish that nobody previously tracked the case.
A listed deadline, claim link or proof flag requires verification against the official source before describing a case as open or eligible. The articles cite administrator, court or agency sources for those rules.
We also reviewed how Payout stores claim history and opens claim forms. The reviewed history stores settlement identifiers without administrator receipts. Our local unauthenticated catalog check established local browsing access only. It did not test a paid mobile account or production reliability.
