The YES Communities settlement resolves claims tied to a ransomware attack that accessed company systems from December 9 through December 11, 2024. The lawsuit alleges that the incident exposed private information belonging to 10,675 people. YES Communities denies wrongdoing, and the court has not decided which side is right.

Eligible class members may choose a $50 payment without documents or request up to $2,500 for documented fraud or identity-theft losses and up to $80 for time spent addressing the incident. They may also request three years of one-bureau credit monitoring through IDX.
