What is the Similasan Eye Drops Lawsuit about?

Similasan Corp. has agreed to pay $3.575 million to resolve allegations that its homeopathic eye-care products—sold under Similasan as well as CVS and Walgreens store brands—were falsely marketed as FDA-approved, sterile and produced under current Good Manufacturing Practices. Consumers can claim $2.50 per covered product (up to four items without proof of purchase) and an unlimited number with valid receipts, subject to pro-rata adjustment.
