What is the Metformin Lawsuit about?

A $5.55 million settlement resolves claims that Teva, Actavis, Granules, and Heritage falsely marketed their generic metformin as equivalent to brand-name Glucophage while it was allegedly contaminated with NDMA, a probable human carcinogen. If you paid for one of these generic metformin drugs between July 20, 2015 and June 2, 2020, you may be entitled to a payment from the settlement fund.
