What is the Cvs Digital Privacy Settlement about?
CVS agreed to a $20.5 million settlement resolving claims that it shared information about visitors to its websites and app with third parties, including the advertising company Criteo. U.S. residents who accessed CVS.com, CVSHealth.com or the CVS app before July 27, 2026 can file a claim; no purchase is required. Claimants can receive up to $5 without proof or up to $10 with proof of use, such as browser history, a dated screenshot or an online order email receipt. Only one claim is allowed per household. File online or postmark a paper claim by November 16, 2026. The court will consider final approval on December 1, 2026, and payments are expected after final approval and any appeals. CVS denies wrongdoing. Eligibility, claim review, payment timing, and any payment amount are determined by the settlement administrator and court-approved terms. Payout does not administer the settlement, determine eligibility, or guarantee payment.
