Tom's of Maine, Inc. and Colgate-Palmolive Company have agreed to a proposed $2,900,000 settlement resolving lawsuits alleging deceptive and misleading business practices tied to the manufacturing, marketing, and sale of certain Tom's toothpaste products made at Tom's Sanford, Maine facility. Eligible U.S. purchasers who bought one or more Tom's toothpaste products between November 21, 2020 and March 6, 2026 may submit a claim. Claims without proof may receive the average manufacturer's suggested retail price for up to one product per household; claims with proof may seek a full refund for documented purchases, capped at three products. Payments may be reduced pro rata if valid claims exceed available funds. Defendants deny wrongdoing.
