Keim v. Trader Joe's FACTA Settlement
Potential cash payment for alleged Trader Joe's FACTA receipt violations.
Description
Trader Joe's Company has agreed to pay $7,400,000 to resolve claims that receipts printed for credit or debit card transactions at some of its stores displayed the first six and last four digits of the card number in violation of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACTA). Settlement Class Members who submit a valid claim will receive a pro rata share of the net settlement fund — the exact amount depends on how many valid claims are submitted. You must provide the first 6 and last 4 digits of the credit or debit card used in the qualifying transaction. Eligibility, claim review, payment timing, and any payment amount are determined by the settlement administrator, court-approved terms, or applicable refund program. Payout does not administer the settlement, determine eligibility, or guarantee payment.
