Huertas v. Bayer – Antifungal Spray Settlement

A proposed class action settlement (Huertas v. Bayer – Antifungal Spray Settlement) involving certain Lotrimin and Tinactin aerosol antifungal spray products subject to Bayer's October 2021 recall. The settlement covers eligible U.S. consumers who purchased covered Lotrimin or Tinactin spray products (including products purchased from September 2018 to October 2021 and lot numbers beginning with TN, CV, or NAA distributed between September 2018 and September 2021). Defendants (including Aeropres Corporation, Aux Sable Liquid Products LP, Bayer HealthCare LLC and Bayer U.S. LLC, Beiersdorf entities, and BP Energy Company) deny the claims. Eligible class members who submit a timely, valid claim form may receive a cash payment. The settlement also provides for notice/administration costs, attorneys' fees and costs (requested up to $1,716,666), and potential service awards ($2,000 per named plaintiff, up to $10,000 total). Eligibility, claim review, payment timing, and any payment amount are determined by the settlement administrator, court-approved terms, or applicable refund program. Payout does not administer the settlement, determine eligibility, or guarantee payment.

• Submit a claim online by 11:59 p.m. Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time on March 11, 2026, or mail a claim postmarked by March 11, 2026
