Bayer Antifungal Spray (Lotrimin/Tinactin) Settlement

Bayer agreed to a $4.85 million class action settlement resolving claims that certain Lotrimin and Tinactin antifungal spray products were contaminated with benzene and misleadingly marketed. U.S. purchasers of recalled sprays (distributed between September 2018 and September 2021) can claim a cash payment: with proof of purchase, a full refund of the purchase price; without proof, $7 per product up to three products per household. Prior recall reimbursements may reduce payments. Claims must be submitted by March 11, 2026. Eligibility, claim review, payment timing, and any payment amount are determined by the settlement administrator, court-approved terms, or applicable refund program. Payout does not administer the settlement, determine eligibility, or guarantee payment.

• United States resident
• For full refund: provide valid proof of purchase
• Without proof: eligible for $7 per product, max three products per household
• Submit claim by 2026-03-11; prior recall payments may reduce settlement amount
