Description

Papa John's will pay a $5,000,000 Gross Settlement Fund to resolve claims that a no-poach provision in its franchise agreements violated antitrust laws and suppressed worker wages. Eligible class members are people who worked at a Papa John's-branded restaurant in the United States (corporate or franchise) at any time from December 18, 2014 through December 31, 2021 and received more than $200 in compensation during that period. Payments will be made from the Net Settlement Fund according to the allocation formula in the Settlement Agreement to class members who submit a valid claim by March 16, 2026. Eligibility, claim review, payment timing, and any payment amount are determined by the settlement administrator, court-approved terms, or applicable refund program. Payout does not administer the settlement, determine eligibility, or guarantee payment.

Who qualifies

  • Worked at a Papa John's-branded restaurant in the U.S. between 2014-12-18 and 2021-12-31 and earned over $200 during that period
  • Submit a valid claim form by 2026-03-16 (provide identifying information such as name, address, email, last four of SSN, and date of birth)
