Papaya Gaming Mobile Apps Settlement
Potential cash payment for alleged skill-game bot use in tournaments.
Description
Papaya Gaming agreed to a $15,000,000 non-reversionary settlement resolving claims that it falsely advertised its cash tournaments as skill-based and allegedly used bots in games like Solitaire Cash, Bubble Cash, Bingo Cash, 21 Cash, and Triple Match Cash. Eligible U.S. players who made a deposit between Jan 1, 2019 and Sept 5, 2024 can receive either a cash payment (e.g., virtual prepaid card) or an in-game cash distribution. Claims must be submitted by Jan 30, 2026; players with active Papaya accounts may receive in-game cash without filing a claim form. Papaya denies wrongdoing. Eligibility, claim review, payment timing, and any payment amount are determined by the settlement administrator, court-approved terms, or applicable refund program. Payout does not administer the settlement, determine eligibility, or guarantee payment.
