Description
A $21.5 million settlement resolves claims that Sutter Health’s use of third-party tracking technologies on certain webpages, including the MyHealthOnline portal login page, disclosed patients’ PII/PHI without consent. Eligible California residents who logged into their own MyHealthOnline accounts during the class period may submit a claim for a pro rata cash payment up to $90. Eligibility, claim review, payment timing, and any payment amount are determined by the settlement administrator, court-approved terms, or applicable refund program. Payout does not administer the settlement, determine eligibility, or guarantee payment.
Who qualifies
- California resident who logged into your own Sutter Health MyHealthOnline portal account between 2015-06-10 and 2020-03-20
- Submit claim online or by mail by 2026-04-28
- Provide Unique ID and PIN from notice (or contact the administrator if unavailable)
