Consumers who purchased certain Mid America Pet Food products between 2022-10-31 and 2024-02-29 may claim cash benefits. Documented Consumer Food Purchase Claims are reimbursed at 100% of the purchase price; undocumented claims pay $20 per bag for up to two bags (maximum $40). Pet Injury Claims that are fully documented are reimbursed at 100% of approved losses up to $100,000 per valid claim; Pet Injury Claims supported only by a declaration pay $50 for an illness and $100 for a death. All payments may be adjusted pro rata. The total settlement fund is $5,500,000, and the claims deadline is 2026-02-05.
