Starling v. Farmers Group, Inc. — TCPA Settlement

A class action alleged that telemarketing calls and text messages promoting Farmers Insurance were placed to consumers without proper consent, in violation of the federal Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Farmers Group agreed to a $2.875 million settlement. Class members who file a valid claim can receive a pro-rata cash payment of up to $425.

• Eligible: you received two or more marketing calls or text messages from Todd Henderson Insurance Agency, Inc. (a Farmers Insurance agency) between 2020-10-08 and 2026-04-28.
• Submit your claim by 2026-07-24 (online or postmarked).
• Payment: a pro-rata cash payment of up to $425 — the amount may decrease depending on the total number of valid claims.
• No documentation of losses required; file using the Notice ID from your settlement notice (or the claim form) and attest you received the calls/texts.
• Final approval hearing: 2026-07-31.
